About the HumaPen Ergo II

The HumaPen Ergo II is a reusable, mechanical insulin pen from Eli Lilly. You load a Lilly 3 mL cartridge, dial a dose from 1 to 60 units, and inject. The pen is meant to be used for up to three years from first use, after which it should be replaced.

The box contains only the pen. Insulin cartridges and pen needles are separate. In Bangladesh it is sold by licensed pharmacies, including online pharmacies, at a much lower price than in many Western countries.

Which Insulin Does It Work With?

The HumaPen Ergo II works only with Eli Lilly 3 mL cartridges — for example Humalog, Humalog Mix or Humulin cartridges, where these are sold as cartridges in your country. It does not fit other companies' cartridges. Please confirm with your pharmacist which Lilly insulins come as 3 mL cartridges where you live.

Who Usually Orders This From Bangladesh?

Price in Bangladesh

In Dhaka pharmacies the HumaPen Ergo II usually sells for about ৳860 — roughly US$7 at October 2026 exchange rates. Pharmacy prices change, so I confirm the exact price on the day I buy. Compare all five pens I source in my reusable insulin pen comparison.

How I Buy and Ship It

I buy the pen from a licensed pharmacy in Dhaka, in its sealed manufacturer box, and keep the receipt. Before I pay, I send you photos of the box, the batch number and the expiry or manufacturing date so you can check it. After you approve the quote, I pack the device in a padded box and ship it by express courier (usually DHL) with tracking. The receipt and a personal-use declaration go with the parcel to help with customs.

What it costs: you pay the Bangladesh pharmacy price, my service fee (from $15 per order) and the courier charge. A small device parcel by express courier usually costs about $40–65 to the USA, UK, Europe, Canada or Australia. That is why ordering two pens, or a pen plus needles, in one parcel is usually better value. Every line is shown in your quote before you pay anything. Payment is by PayPal, Wise, bKash or bank transfer.

About insulin itself: this page is about the pen device. Insulin cartridges are a prescription medicine that must stay cold, and many countries restrict importing them. If you also need cartridges, ask me first — I will tell you honestly whether cold-chain shipping to your country is practical, and I will say no if it is not safe.

⚠️ Medical & import disclaimer — please read

Prescription required. I only source insulin pen devices for customers who share a valid prescription or doctor's note for insulin therapy. Your country's import rules apply. Many countries regulate the import of medical devices and prescription medicines, even for personal use. It is your responsibility to check what you may legally import before you order — I will tell you anything I know about your country, but customs officials make the final decision. No medical advice. I am a personal shopper, not a doctor or pharmacist. Always confirm with your doctor or pharmacist that a pen suits your insulin and your treatment before switching devices.
