I go to the fair, buy the exact titles you want, and ship them to you.

The Amar Ekushey Boi Mela is traditionally held through February, the month of Ekushey (21 February, International Mother Language Day). The dates can change: in 2026 the fair started on 20 February instead of the usual 1 February, held at Suhrawardy Udyan. The 2027 dates had not been announced when I wrote this (October 2026), so I will confirm them as soon as Bangla Academy does.

If a title is sold out or delayed at the press, I will tell you honestly and offer to buy it when the reprint comes, rather than send you a substitute you didn't ask for.
The books themselves are very affordable at Dhaka prices. What costs money is weight: a single book is cheap to send, but a stack of hardbacks adds up quickly. As a rough guide, express shipping for a 1 kg parcel is about $60–70 to the USA, UK or EU and $70–95 to Australia. Printed books are duty-free or low-duty in many countries, which makes them one of the easiest things to import. Local sales tax rules still depend on your country and the parcel value — for example, the EU charges VAT from the first euro and Canada's threshold is very low (about CAD $20).
